This vase is entirely handmade from a single piece of elm burr. No veneer, no laminates – just solid timber with a naturally striking grain. Swirls, eyes and darker patches create a unique, almost painterly pattern on the wood. The tall, gently tapered shape highlights the figure of the burr and makes a real statement on a shelf, mantelpiece or table.
The surface is carefully sanded smooth and finished with natural oil to protect the wood while keeping a warm, tactile feel and bringing out the beautiful colour and grain.
