Tall Hand-carved Bog Oak Wooden Vase (one of a kind)

Sculpted by hand from bog oak – ancient oak that darkened naturally while resting in peat – this vase has a striking, wabi-sabi silhouette and smoky, charcoal-to-honey grain. The surface is carefully cleaned, finely sanded and finished with linseed oil to nourish the wood and highlight its natural character.

The form is intentionally organic: knots, checks and colour shifts are part of the story of the wood and make this piece truly unique. Beautiful as a stand-alone sculpture or styled with dried grasses and branches on a shelf, console or mantel.

Finish: linseed-oil, satin sheen

Use: ideal for dried flowers/branches or as a sculptural object. Not watertight; use a glass/metal liner if displaying fresh flowers.

Care
Dust with a soft dry cloth. Keep away from direct heat and prolonged moisture. Refresh with a light wipe of linseed oil if the surface looks dry.
