About the stone:

Pietersite has been found at two main sources: Kuraman, Namibia; and Xichuan, Henan Province, China. Mr. Pieters discovered the Namibian pietersite within round dolostone cobbles while prospecting some farmland in the neighbourhood of Outjo, in the Kuraman district.
