The pendant is polished on both sides and shows beautifully wood rich shades. Each piece is completely unique with beautiful cracks, cavities, roughness and colours.

The pendant set in hypoallergenic pure 925 silver bezel that is nickel, lead and cadmium free.

Petrification is the geological process in which organic material is turned to stone slowly over time.

About the stone:

It takes millions of years for petrified wood to form. The process begins when wood is buried quickly and deeply by water and mineral-rich sediment, removing it from a high-oxygen environment. This slows the process of decomposition nearly to a halt, letting the minerals in the water and sediment seep into the wood.

Also known as agatized wood as all the organic wood is slowly replaced with quartz. This makes it very unique as it looks like wood but is actually a crystal.

Petrified wood is a stone which represents spiritual transformation as the wood crystallizes over long periods of time gives wonderful grounding properties to assist with spiritual transmutation.
