A stunning Russian Seraphinite and 925 silver pendant set in a half- bezel.

This stone is characterized by its lovely, deep forest green colour, highlighted by shimmering strokes and feathery patterns caused by the mica mineral. The chatoyant fibres that can be found on the Seraphinite look just like silver feathery wings.

Pendant measurements (not including the bail) - 4.7 cm long x 3.3 cm wide x 0.5 cm deep.

Pendant weight - 20 grams.

This pendant is made with pure 925 silver which is lead, cadmium, nickel free.

The pendant can be purchased separately or you can select a 1mm solid Italian silver or 1 mm sterling silver and 18 inches (45-46 cm) snake chain.

About the stone:

Seraphinite is named after the biblical seraphs or seraphim angels. With some specimens the resemblance is quite strong, with shorter down-like feathery growths leading into longer "flight feathers"; the resemblance even spurs fanciful marketing phrases like "silver plume seraphinite."
